The hospitality was outstanding, particularly Basheer, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to assist us with any requests. Our room was spotless and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, which was a relief after a day in the sun. We also loved the hammock and the very comfy outdoor chairs—perfect for relaxing. The garden looked lovely, adding a peaceful ambiance to the whole place. The breakfast, prepared by the two lovely ladies at the hotel, was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start our day. Overall, Aqua Blue Hotel offers great value for money with its clean accommodations, friendly service, and tasty breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arugam Bay.

Hilltop Cabanas beschikt over een tuin, een terras en een restaurant, en bevindt zich in Komari, op 22 km van Lagoon Safari - Pottuvils en 23 km van Muhudu Maha Viharaya. We had an amazing time at Hilltop Cabanas! The place is located right at the beach and around there is pretty much just nature - we loved it! The manager was so friendly and even showed us wild roaming elephants in the afternoon, an unforgettable experience! The Cabana itself was perfect: it was clean, had a special atmosphere because you are sleeping „outside“ but even tho there was no AC it‘s not too hot at night. The common area had some books and games you could use which was also really cool. The food choices were limited (offseason) but the meals were just fantastic - 10/10! All in all: 100% recommend this place!

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

The place is right on a private stretch of beach which you get all to yourselves to stroll along the beach and stargaze at night but it’s also a short walk away from the centre of town.

Exactly what we were looking for — the feeling of being alone in a small paradise of nature. An endless beach with no one around, a starry sky at night, and a stunning sunrise over the ocean for early risers. Extras like a beach volleyball court with ball available, hammocks, and very attentive staff made the stay even better. The owner also organized two unforgettable activities for us: one of the best safaris we had in Sri Lanka at Kumana National Park, and a peaceful boat trip on the Panama lagoon, which felt like friends showing us around their home.
