We are delighted with the friendship and dedication with which the Suhsi House is run. If you want to experience sushi at the next level, you've come to the right place. The sushi master looks at sushi omakase, which roughly means "the chef's choice", i.e. the chef prepares the menu according to the seasonality and availability of the ingredients. The evening was simply fantastic. You can reach the accommodation perfectly by underground from Fukuoka, it is also a perfect starting point to explore the Itoshima Peninsula. The accommodation is very well maintained, clean, new and even has free coffee and tea. There is also a fridge for storing products. The bedrooms are typical Japanese, so a bit smaller and with futon (which were very comfortable). I 100% recommend a stay and definitely try the sushi. The warmth and dedication is just fantastic. Despite that we do not understand Japanese, the owner has a translation note in English on most of the equipment.

Staying here is just an incredible experience, the home is stunning and fun to explore, the views are great and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our only wish is that we had stayed even longer.

We had a lovely time staying in this traditional Japanese style apartment. It is tidy and spacious, has lots of details hidden around the corners. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful, provided detailed suggestions about placed worth visiting in Takeo and even guided us to see fireflies at night. The day we checkout out of the apartment we forgot backpack on the bus, the host was kind enough to contact the bus company for us right away. This is by far the most pleasant stay we ever had in any country.
