Amazing staff, super nice and very helpful: we were offered tea and sweets when we arrived, they also helped carrying our luggages to our room and provided many information about the surroundings and Kyoto in general. You can use the onsen in front of the hotel for free, it had many bath, a sauna, truly amazing ! The room was a traditionnal japanese tatami mat one, you have different options for your futon, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. We felt very welcome and had an amazing stay, thank you !

I was genuinely touched by their honesty, care, and attention. This place became more than just accommodation—it became a special memory of my journey in Japan.
