Found in an Edwardian building formerly home to the Anchor Line Shipping Company’s headquarters, this city centre aparthotel is inspired by a 1920s ocean liner. With original 1906 features, there are glazed tiles, terrazzo flooring, timber wall-panelling, fireplaces and even the original safes. The staff were super helpful. They even moved rooms for us so my family could all be together. Reception staff were very friendly recommending restaurants and helping me get in my room when my kids locked me out!

It is only 5 minutes' walk from the cafés, shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a cinema. Absolutely wonderful place to stay. For the start - very welcoming staff! Very helpful and informative all the time. It was a pleasure to meet all these people. Beautiful building, very nice room, comfortable bed, spotless clean, convenient parking and great communication. Tea & coffee provided with a few snacks, toiletries in the bathroom - everything that you can ask for. Breakfast was exceptional - very tasty, fresh, homemade. Located in the charming town of Aberfeldy, 10 min walk from the distillery and, even closer to the Watermill bookshop. Definitely on our top list, saved for any future travel plans. Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. What a lovely property. The studio was spacious and well lit. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and beds were super comfy. The private garden was the highlight. Also, although a bit further from the city, which shouldn’t be a problem even if you don’t have a car since cabs are easily available, it was right across the road from the loch. The farm right outside the cottages was lovely. Peaceful location.
