Yvonne is so welcoming. The property is so iconic and beautiful, it brings you so much peace and happiness. Beds are comfortable. Views are amazing of Kal lake and Vernon. It's a little gem hidden in the mountain. Hottub with views is also amazing. Breakfast in the morning...delicious! You certainly don't leave hungry! On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the bed and breakfast's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We wanted to stay a little ways outside the downtown area in a place that had a quiet cool garden and spent many hours enjoying our hosts pretty treed yard, lots of birds and lovely view of the fields beyond the back gate to the trail. I miss it already. The suite was spotlessly clean with everything you might need during your visit including a kitchenette and had a private entrance. There were even beach towels and nice white bathrobes. Breakfast was continental and more than filling with two trays of tasty things to start the day. The screened windows opened for fresh air while we slept.

All units include a deck, balcony or patio. Although I did 'check in' at the office, a door code was provided. This really simplifies things. I was very happy to have access to a hot tub and to the fire pit on the beach. The home was very comfortable and clean, and the grounds were amazing!

The bed was so comfortable, the delicious breakfasts that Mary ellis made every morning (never had the same thing twice). Quiet location with some walking trails in the back. We also had some great conversations with Mike, our host and Mocha, the good-est puppy. They even went out of their way to host our extended family for lunch when it threatened to rain one day! Overall a very memorable place and we hope to be back one day.
