What wonderfull greeting from Alison and Ron and what a beautiful accommodation. Very comfy beds, each with own shower room (small but very functional). Alsion had already setup the table for breakfast the next morning, cereal, croissants, milk, juice, butter, jams ..... use of microwave, fridge, washing machine.Gas fireplace made it very cosy and our son was super happy to have the extra TV channels to watch the football world cup. Unfortunatly only stayed one night so did not see much of outside ameneties of the village but would have happilly stayed 4-5 days extra ... specially due to such a wonderfull, welcoming, helpfull couple, Alison and Ron !

The property is incredible. Everything you could possibly need. We self catered for our family and were able to relax and unwind after a long drive in a beautifully clean and cosy log lodge. Close to Tongariro National Park walks (and a jacuzzi for post walk soreness!) and in a town with a little supermarket with everything we could need. This was a fantastic stay and we're so grateful to our hosts. Their homemade jams are amazing - have purchased several jars to take home! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

A beautiful cabin, lovely, modern, clean and heaps of room for 4 adults. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We will be going back for another stay. An easy walk to the town centre.

The apartment was spacious, warm and beautifully decorated, we loved the heated floors in the bathroom. The house felt safe and secure and there was plenty of extra blankets and bath linen. We were needing a quiet break and the apartment met all expectations.

We didn't really know what to expect as the location was a bit out of Ohakune town. But as we pulled into the accomodation, we were met with a very friendly host. Our room was very spacious with beautiful view of the lake. The amenities were generous with a bathtub available after a long day hiking or snowboarding.
