We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere surronded by animals while we were actually ideally located. We saw the lion rock, Dambulla and did 2 safaris from the hotel (Horulu & Wilpattu). You can also find nice restaurants and shops just outside the resort. Hosts are very helpful to give you advice, price, find tuk tuk at any time etc...Everyone was lovely and our deluxe water cottage was very comfortable.

This accommodation is located near the Sigiriya Rock, just the right distance from the entrance, accessible by foot. Our room was really neat and comfortable. We were provided with an electric kettle, some tea and coffee, and also with some staff of sanitary kit (shampoo, soap, body lotion). The breakfast was really delicious, cooked by the host family. Also, we arranged a safari trip to see elephants which was an unforgettable life-experience! Highly recommended to families with children. This place is definitely one of the most loved accommodations in Sri Lanka!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Waiting for any way to fulfill our needs. The manager, Denusha, helped us organize our trip with a safari, taxi from the airport and to Dambulla, fun converstations and even dropped us off at our bus stop. The location was peaceful and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was close enough that we could walk to the lion rock and the Piderangela hike also.

The treehouse was small but cozy, from the balcony you have a beautiful view on the pidurangala rock. Beeing directly in the nature gives you a extraordinary feeling, especially in the night with all the sound from the nature around you. The host and his family are very very kind ans always concerned about our well-being. But the best thing about our stay was the food, which was really great. We got a delicious dinner which was one of our best foods in Sri Lanka. Don't miss the chance of this incredibly delicious experience

everything was amazing! the family are the most generous people I have met and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. Whenever we had any questions or requests we were met with kindness and generosity. The homestay is located in nature so it’s a beautiful place to relax after a day exploring. Our room was spotless and clean. Breakfast was great and we were offered many cups of tea during the stay! Also we loved the dog and the kittens!!

My wife and I have always prefer to stay in an urban and nature environment. Firstly, I would say that the owners Mr. Mahesh and his spouse Mdm. Chandi has delivered the true Sri Lankan hospitality, they provided personalised services and always suggest the best on what activity we can do around Sigiriya. They even prepared fantastic meals for us based on our taste buds. They have never been pushy and that's the best 👌. Besides that, we have experienced a bombastic self vegetation plantation around the hidden lake cottages, If you are lucky 😃 actually every day is a lucky day, you will hear peacocks, cows, elephants and migration of various bird with their chippig sound and many other living creatures. It's like only ONE Call away and they are there to assist, In fact, Mr Mahesh shuttled us to the main road in order for us to take the bus. Little did we know that travelling by bus was satisfying and this was suggested by the beautiful property owners. Everything was so 👉 on point whereby on our last day, we did feel like we were gonna miss this home. Myself and my wife will definitely introduce this soothing and calm cottage to all our family, friends and those who need suggestions 😊. Tremendous. Mahesh and his family were outstanding. They welcomed us into their home and made everything so easy for us. It was an authentic home stay experience and we loved every minute of it. They prepared a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, helped us to get to their accommodation and to leave. They organised a fantastic safari where we saw many elephants in the wild with a baby elephant of only a few days old. They arranged a great tuck-tuck pick up and drop off to visit and climb a local landmark. The drivers they arranged for us were thorough and showed us all of the best sites. Mahesh went above and beyond. He is a fantastic man with a fantastic family.
