I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dahlia. It's situated in a charming local neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants and bars. Ellen's house is spacious, featuring a large lobby where you can work, relax, or enjoy a coffee—Ellen even has a real coffee maker! The entrance is impeccably clean, just like the rest of the house. The room only had a fan, but that wasn't an issue; the window with a net screen provided fantastic ventilation. The cold water in the bathroom wasn't as cold as you might expect, but it was at a pleasant temperature. If you need hot water in a shower, it's conveniently available downstairs, there is bathroom you can use. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare a sandwich or slice some fruit to enjoy on a plate. Everything is tidy and user-friendly. You can also make free refill of your bottles! And there is also a fridge to store your meal / cool your bottles... You can pay by card upon your arrival at the property. It's just a short walk from the pier, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase; a backpack is much more practical due to the lack of regular roads. One of the highlights of M'Pai village is definitely the food. There are numerous fantastic restaurants! After my experience in Koh Rong, where finding good food was a challenge, this felt like a culinary paradise. Seapony is perfect for breakfast, while Dragonfly is great for drinks and light meals—especially their baba ganoush with flatbread! I ended up extending my stay because the location was simply wonderful. For 5usd you can take a water taxi to other beaches but I prefered M´Pai vibes.

Such a great experience! Sam’s place is inviting and cozy, very clean and nicely organized. You basically have your own little living room while here which is such an additional value. You have coffee and tea whenever you need it, and she offers drinking water as well so you can minimize the plastic pollution on the island. You get two strong fans so we had no trouble sleeping at all. She truly makes you feel like home ❤️

Everything was great. Sok mean bungalows is an authentic cambodian place created by a family. They have everything you need, there is a restaurant insude of the place and the beach is only 10 metres from the bubgalows! You can rent a kayac for a super cheap price and the restaurant there (you can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner) is very very good and super cheap as well! Therefore they can make bbq in the night and the fish are delicious!!!! (And very cheap as well). Sok helped as with everything, how to take taxi boats, recommending us different tours… (we definitely recommend the snorkel, fishing, sunset and plancton tour) and has beeen there always we needed him :) Sok and his family are great :) The location is just perfect. Mpay bay has everything you need, the beaxh, snorkel, diving places, kayac, you can see the sunset there and the restaurants in this zone are cheaper and very good :) The room has also everything you need, a mosquito net, a bed super big and comfortable and a fan us more than enough for sleeping there in the noght :) We truly recommend this place, is an authentic cambodian place with a super sweet family :) I am sure sok is going to help you in everything you need :) Thank you sok and family :)

such an awesome vibe here, everyone's so welcoming and it feels like a home away from home. our room was clean and right on the beautiful beach, they even have little water bowls to dip your feet in to prevent getting sand into the room which was a nice touch. lots of places to chill during the day and activities like a pool table, lots of board games and paddle boards. food was lovely, would 100% recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Happiness Guesthouse so much we kept extending! A really beautiful house right by the sea, with a great balcony for relaxing and hosted by a lovely family. We would definitely return here, 100% recommend!!
