Location was great since it was about 100 meters from dozens of stores, and then 100 more meters to a huge market, very safe area, even at night. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Not without Ugandan modesty, but... The yard, the garden, the pool are all wonderful. The staff do whatever they ask for day and night on demand. They don't cook food at the hotel except for breakfast, but if you ask the staff guys to find everything and deliver it to the room.

I stayed here for my first night in Uganda to get ready for my safari trip, I told the staff that I'm going to check out very early at 5:00 am, and they were kind enough to pack the breakfast for me. The place was very nice and some how quite, despite some construction going on next to it, which was not the hotel's fault. Also, I walked for like 5 minutes to Victoria Mall to get my sim card and I had lunch there!

They have a couple of super loveable dogs and the gardens surrounding the property were full of exotic birds, geckos and even monkeys! So quiet at night. The property is super clean and they don't charge extra for water! Dave, the owner, was a terrific host with a wealth of knowledge in the area as well as having access to other tours and guides should you wish to book a tour and have not yet. Put Alison & Dave's guest house on your list to visit when you are in Intebbe. I guarantee you will not regret it!
