There were restaurants, coffee shops all around, as well as the central piazza. We managed to park our motorbike in the alley right beneath our room window, not actually permited, but since it was just for one night. Montepulciano is very beautiful, combined with Anna's apartment, made our stay worthwhile!

If you’re familiar with this particular region of Tuscany it will be very hard to beat this whole experience. Surrounded by a few of the most charming old cities, Abbadia is a gem. I’m so glad I found it and will definitely be back.

Every corner of the hotel has a personal touch, showing their passion and utmost care to a place they now call home. We truly felt their warmth and hospitality. They showed the process of the renovation for 9 full months. It has been an amazing experience in Tuscany and i fell in love with Italy because of their cities and hospitalities. Hope you could visit and stay at this place when you are visiting Tuscany. They have a set menu lunch and dinner at 45 and 65 eur / person, but we have not got a chance to try because they have a full day wedding the next day, so it is not serving lunch and dinner. Next time….

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Our hostess, Sonja, and her entire staff were super helpful. When we had trouble navigating the streets to their location, Sonja came and picked us up at the municipal plaza, and one of her staff members parked our car in a more accessible parking lot. Although the staff did not speak English (Sonja does) they ministered to our every need using Google translate. The B&B is beautifully decorated with all modern features.
