The host Sandro speaks English and was very easy to communicate with. I planned to stay only two nights, but I ended up staying twelve! The island is beautiful, but what really made me stay longer were the amazing hosts. Every day, they helped me plan a new tour so I could see a different part of the island. They were so kind and made sure all my wishes were taken care of—even helping me see a pudu! Thank you so much for everything!

The owner very responsive and helpful, was very happy to assist us in our trip.

At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

The owners are super friendly, they treated us very well. The breakfast is super complete. They recommended a pasta restaurant for dinner that was incredible. We would definitely come back!

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Dreams Casino is 34 km away and Opitz House is 36 km from the bed and breakfast. You really need a car to get to this location, but when we weren’t able to rent one, the owners kindly helped us out. It’s also possible to come by minibus. The breakfasts are excellent and the whole place feels very comfortable. A truly lovely stay!

Hostal La Minga is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Chaitén, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. A lovely secluded place that is a short drive out of Chaiten. Klaus and his wife seem to be quite conscious about sustainability. Many items at breakfast and dinner were homemade which was delicious. I was in a twin room at the back of the house which was comfortable.

Providing garden views and a garden, Patagonia Route B&B features accommodation well located in Puerto Varas, within a short distance of Pablo Fierro Museum, Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Church and Dreams Casino. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking and luggage storage space. Gotschlich House is 1.3 km away and Opitz House is 2.6 km from the bed and breakfast. I stayed in January 2025. This is the perfect place to stay to visit Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt and Osorno. This is a B&B in the true sense. The room is clean, large and overall comfortable. The hosts are super nice people. I can’t say enough about how gracious and sweet this couple is. They attend to all requests and provide tips on activities in Puerto Varas. Puerto Varas is such an awesome experience. It feels like being in Europe. Do not stay in Puerto Montt, stay in Puerto Varas. Breakfast is great each morning - coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, meat slices, etc. Very quiet place to relax and easy walking distance to the beach, bus station, the center of town, restaurants, coffee shops. There’s a lovely little panderia/cafe across the street from the B&B if you want a nice pastry. The owners allowed me to check in a bit early and even gave me a ride to my new hostel afterward. They certainly put a lot of effort in their hospitality. Rooms are cleaned daily if you desire. Overall, fantastic experience. I highly recommend staying here.

Casa Azul is located in the centre of Puerto Varas, only 7 minutes away from the main square, supermarkets, the beach and the Casino. There are 3 bus terminals close to the property, between 5 a 10 minutes walking.

The hostel offers a full-equipped kitchen, a living and dining room. All rooms have central heating and bed linen is included. Bathrooms have hot water all day long. Highly recommend and will stay here again.
