Manuela is a delightful host; if you are asked if you want dinner don’t let that opportunity pass, we had the most beautiful home cooked meal, and nothing is too much effort for her. The place is also nice and quiet, just between two villages up on a hill, so we got some quality sleep too.

This stay was absolutely magical, we couldn’t recommend it enough, we honestly have no words to describe it. The setting, the surroundings, the sunset were just superb. The hosts was absolutely amazing, we had just got engaged 2 days prior and I asked them to surprise my now fiancé with decorating our room with flowers and sparkling wine for our arrival, they did a fantastic job and it was truly amazing. We booked a table at the local restaurant called Spaccacucchiaio and the food was so tasty. We had even asked for Spritz’s before we headed to the restaurant and they had no problem making them for us. The breakfast was 10/10, the selection you get was brilliant. We also used the Spa twice during our 1 night stay and it was amazing to have a place to relax, use the sauna and steam room and unwind. We have been on a 2 week Italy trip and this property was by far the most amazing we stayed at. What’s better is that because the property only holds 2 rooms, you basically get the place to yourselves. We can’t recommend the place enough and the host were great.

My stay (4 evenings) at Anime Salve for the golf nearby (Ducato) has been outstanding. Every evening my hosts (Francesca, Angelo and the kids Fabrizio and Alessandra) prepared me (for a small fee) a true Italian dinner, and it was fantastic. We had pasta dishes, home made pizzas, local specialities like Parma proscuitto.. Of course you can have the option to dine out or cook in the fully catered kitchen. The pellets poêle is great and keeps the studio warm. The studio can also sleep 3 persons. Every day Angelo is making sure your stay is the best possible. You can go there with your eyes closed! Lovely personal welcome from the host. She went out of her way to drive us to the bus stop to get the bus to Parma. It's a lovely house and we would happily stay there again.

This is a marvellous place to stay while hiking along the Via Francigena. The facilities are new and beautifully designed and maintained. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely dinner in the downstairs bar in the evening and a great breakfast in the morning. The location is very beautiful, with wonderful views. Highly recommended.!
