The evening meals were really very good. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and a very good portion size. The room was light and airy and very clean suberp. Finally the staff were fantastic, really friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend the George and Dragon, a little gem.

It it the most impressive house we lived during the two-week trip. It's clean and warm. We enjoyed playing board games next to the fireplace. The breakfast was fantastic.

This is an excellent hotel exceeding its rating. A fine example of the best of English hospitality, it sets a high benchmark which other inns and hotels should be aiming at and which in many cases do not. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and the cleaners do a remarkable job, the inn is spotless. The place is very professionally run. It's a credit to the owners.
