They welcome you at the port and drive you to the resort front door, it’s really close by but it’s appreciated, especially if you have a large luggage. You get a welcome drink, you get to choose a complimentary bath and shower kit, and you also get to pick your first breakfast time and menu before being taken to your room. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern and elegant, with nice views over the port area. Breakfast is prepared fresh for you every day, and you always get to choose the time and the menu for the next day. You can have it both indoor and outdoor. Quality is very high. Staff is super friendly and helpful, it really felt like a family taking care of you, I have kept ‘bothering’ them with many requests and they have always helped me, from suggestions on what to visit to where to eat for lunch and dinner. I HIGHLY recommend having them suggest and book dinner restaurants for you every single day because there aren’t many options and they tend to get full quickly. If you walk in either direction from the resort you will end up in 2 beautiful beaches, I suggest visiting both, especially the west one for amazing breathtaking sunset views. The resort provides you with beach towels and snorkeling masks if necessary. The closest observation deck is Takatsukiyama and I recommend visiting it, you can easily walk to it in around 15-20 minutes and you will have amazing views, plus a nice patio to relax at. Around town you will find many snorkeling and similar activities tours options, and you also have the possibility to rent bikes or scooters.

All units will provide guests with a fridge. Fantastic location. Good snorkeling in front of the hotel. Great food. Wonderful staff and amazing night sky from the roof.

Very well equipped and spacious room, there was also snorkeling equipment and bikes to use for free. The host served very delicious bentos every morning and picked us up from the ferry.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They came to pick me up from Tokashiki port upon my arrival, and wanted to make sure I would be okay when I wanted to hike back to the port on my own. Both the dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The property is just a few minutes from the gorgeous Aharen beach. And the whole stay just felt magical.

Takako is an amazing host who made feel very welcomed. The dinner she cooks is so tasty, I was looking forward to it every day. The place is simple and authentic which I liked a lot, and is kept super clean. I also liked the location as it is very calm and 15 minutes walk to a more secluded beach which has nice sunsets. It’s also very convenient that you can directly rent a bike and snorkeling gear, I used that to explore the island and snorkel and several spots.

The place is clean in traditional Japanese style. The bed was a comfortable high matras. There is a ice cream machine and a coffee machine are available and as well equipment for snorkeling or chilling at the beach. Definitely recommend this guesthouse if you love peace and nature. Also I like the homemade smoothie with sweet potato and sesame seeds. Would recommend to go to the Furuzamami beach at this island for lively corals and fishes.
