I would also recommend the chocolate workshop, we made like snickers chocolates but with real cacao and it was so good! We would love to come back in the future

All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Capitania Beach is 1 km from the hotel. This hotel is PERFECT. Ismal the owner has a really good vibe. I felt at home, their is all you need here. The morning view is splendid. I had a bed with a view on the water. I could not have dreamt of something better for my last days in Guatemala. I recommande STRONGLY this hostal. You will not regret it.
