We did our classic “British grocery shop” at a nearby Tesco, which had everything we needed. Stornoway is a perfect base, with everything on the Isle of Lewis and Isle of Harris within short trip. One of our most beautiful memories from our Scottish road trip is definitely “our little house in the Hebrides.” Highly recommended to everyone!

Spacious living areas and very comfortable beds. The entire property was spotlessly clean. Owners have put a lot of thought and effort to ensuring you have everything you could need and more. There was a basket of snacks plus juice, milk and water in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived. There are books and games for all ages, and all rooms had fresh cut flowers making it very homely. A really beautiful place to stay. There's a lovely Gallery next door which is well worth a visit, large selection of art and gifts at very reasonable prices.
