From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Popochos Beach Eco Lodge biedt een tuin en gratis WiFi, en bevindt zich in Nuquí. Very friendly staff, accommodating, clean facilities. The manager Hugo was so kind and even helped me arrange tours for my stay. And the food was incredible!

El Retoño del Negro Gozón is gelegen in Nuquí met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin en terras. Utterly utterly basic. Barefoot luxury without the luxury. The wooden planks which make the walls of the huts have spaces between them for ventilation. Nothing in the room except a bed (and mosquito net), a shelf and a table. Hammocks on the verandah and the sea is right there - wonderful. You get there by small boat (with outboard motor) from Nuqui - the tourist jetty is a short walk from the airport and the people where you pay your airport tax made sure we were passed into the care of someone who saw us onto the right boat. It took 50 minutes. Wear shorts - there is no jetty and you disembark by stepping off into the water. The kitchen/dining area has a low concrete wall around it and a tin roof. The food is simple but we thought it was delicious (lots of fish - ceviche, stew and grilled). The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful, and take care to speak simple Spanish to help us understand. We enjoyed whale watching from a small boat. All very simple and undeveloped. A perfect place for blissful downtime and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. Utterly utterly wonderful!

TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel bevindt zich in El Valle, op 2,2 km van Playa El Almejal, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een privéstrand en een terras. Prachtige accommodatie met erg leuke hutjes die sfeervol zijn ingericht en met zicht op zee. Lekker ontbijt en eten. Lieve eigenaars die vanalles kunnen regelen. Leuke tuin met hangmatten.

Mi Cabaña El Maderal bevindt zich in Capurganá en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. You were with family. Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

Refugio Mr Jerry Eco House ligt tegenover het strand in Bahía Solano en heeft een terras, en heeft gratis WiFi. Het pension heeft familiekamers. De kamers hebben beddengoed. The place is absolutely wonderful. An isolated paradise with few tourists and wonderful nature around. The place is well kept and clean. The mood is nice, staff is friendly, and the food is very good! The tours to see the whales, playa de los deseos and the jungle at night were very good!

Cabañas Luna Escondida heeft een tuin, een restaurant, een bar en gratis WiFi, en is gelegen in Capurganá, op 5 minuten lopen van Playa Capurganá. Beautiful spot, secluded but not to far from town. Staff are so lovely 10/10. They made us breakfast really early due to our boat. Very hospitable. Lemonade on arrival was a bonus. Clean room, lots of space. Bed was comfortable. Out door shower was really nice!

Cabañas Los Almendros ligt op 4 minuten lopen van Playa Capurganá, en biedt een 4-sterrenaccommodatie in Capurganá en heeft een tuin, een terras en een bar. Alle kamers hebben een patio. Loved this place! The staff and the owners are lovely people. There is a great garden area with trees and a lovely breeze. It’s situated close to the center and the docks, but still in a quiet area. It has solar power, so we didn’t really suffer from any power outages. Would recommend everyone to stay here!
