Beach Hotels in Staten Island

Friendly owner. I booked a room with a shared bathroom and they gave me a room with a private bathroom, overlooking the ocean and New York. When I woke up, I immediately saw the sunrise and the ocean.

The Harbor House is a cozy, charming building overlooking a small beach. It's nestled close by a number of shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the majority of hustle and bustle. The property owner was kind and very helpful during our stay and our room was comfortable and inviting; our room was even upgraded to a larger room with a private bath for some reason, free of charge! It was very much appreciated.

Nice relaxed (suburban like) place with an amazing skyline view. I've enjoyed breakfast (8-9 a.m.) at the big dining hall table and a short chat with guests or host Mo. For me shared sanitary facilities were OK. A good start for either enjoying Staten Island (e.g. Allice Austen House opposite the street, Snug Harbor, Hist. Richmond Town, South Beach, Fort Wadsworth) or Manhattan / other parts of NY - if you are not in a hurry! Public transport round the corner. Really quiet night. ♡ Recommended!

Everything was just perfect. 1. The location just by the ocean with beautiful view to New York City. 2. It was really quick to get to Manhattan: 12 mins of bus and 25 mins of ferry. Additionally travelling by ferry gives you beautiful views and amazing experience for free. 3. The owner was really kind and helpful. There was no problem with booking one extra night even if that meant changing the room. 4. The price is outstanding - couldn’t find something as good and as cheap. 5. Breakfast included in the price was really good.

Location location location parking on the street it's a walkway to the beach people fishing but you could see the harbor it was just great little windy but so much to do right in that area close to you can walk. Staff was great rooms were very very clean and even though it was a shared bathroom it never seemed to be a problem everybody picked up after themselves breakfast was great and it is a radiator that heats the rooms and everything there is a blanket in the dresser should you need it.
