We booked four nights here and ended up extending for four more nights. We've traveled the Philippines for a month now, and this has, by far, been the best value for our money! The breakfast is incredible! The staff is sooo amazing! The room was super clean, functional, and comfortable. Our two young boys could not get enough of exploring the tide pools and collecting starfish, hermit crabs, and other sea creatures. Alma and the rest of the staff deserve a hospitality award. Whoever owns this place is lucky to have them. We highly recommend this place for those who want to escape the chaos of Alona and relax in a beautiful setting with an amazing sunrise.

I had a great stay at Casa Aureola. It's a beautiful villa with only 2 or 3 guests (I even had the house alone). The villa is on the frontline to the beach and during the night you can hear the waves. It has a very big and well equipped kitchen which is connected to the living room with a beautiful balcony. When I had breakfast here I could watch the sea (see foto 1) The internet connection was available in all the rooms and even at the beach. The house is owned by a Philippine family who gave me the feeling being their private guest. I can't understand at all the negative review given here by one guest.

It's been well maintained and there is a very friendly and helpful host (sorry forgotten her name, I think Malia?) who lives at the front of the property so is always on hand to help with anything. I loved the people, since it’s a family led business they really go beyond on their service. Just 2 steps away from pristine white sand beach. Rooms are big and comfy. Coconuts are from their own trees. I love that they are animal lovers and care for some stray dogs. They are amiable. You can rent the scooters from there too. Location is far-ish from the bustle of Alona yet only 15 min away on a habal. 1000% recommended.
