I loved it from the moment I stepped onto the property – it’s located right on the beach! The welcoming and sweet staff made me feel at home right away, and the seafood was absolutely delicious. The art and creative style throughout the place is so unique – I even got to see some of the other rooms, each one colorful and with its own personality. I only wish I had stayed longer, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon

A beautifully crafted and decorated hotel - on an island in the Indian Ocean (17km south of Diani) - sister hotel Nomad where we previously stayed and we would say it was a more peaceful experience. The room was beautiful and spacious. Excellent variety of food and different restaurants. There’s a lovely gift shop and so many activities - kayaking, mangrove walks, yoga, diving etc or you can just relax on the beach or by one of the three pools. Sunsets on the deck are incredible. Good transfers to and from Diani - depending on the tide you will go across by small boat or tractor! Which was so fun!

Breakfast very good, and every day they change something: base is very good coffee, fruit, honey jam, milk, and one day you have beans cooked in coconut sauce, another day chapati or omelettes, then toasts or sweet rice balls, something typical swahili and we enjoyed a lot. Location is special! Beach just there and a wonderful tropical garden behind. No noise, only birds and peace. No moskitos!!!!

In Kenya we stayed in 5 different places, all nice, but Flamboyant was definitely the best - right on the white beach, really comfy and well-equipped room, the only accommodation with working A/C, always having warm water in the shower, breakfast had the continental style which wasn't the case in other places. Pool is cleaned regularly, there is enough beach and pool beds, beach towels are provided for free. Security guys watch out the monkeys around so that they do not take your belongings. Simply great place where you really can relax and enjoy yourselves.

Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is located on Galu Beach and 10 km away from the Ukunda Airstrip. This boutique hotel features water sport facilities, an outdoor pool and restaurants.

Very well run boutique hotel with kind, helpful, polite and always smiling staff. They worked for us hard from early in the morning till late in the evening.The garden was very well-kept, it was amezing, we felt like being in paradise. The food was so tasty with wide range. We booked one night at Villa Branca but ended up staying three nights and the reason is simple, this place is awesome. Not only were the facilities great, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The swimming pool is so nice and what's better than sitting at the bar in the pool and enjoying drinks or light dishes that Robert was constantly bringing to us. The first day we had Samosa and my wife liked it so much that Robert invited her to the kitchen the next day and taught her to make it. Susan the manager was so helpful and kind. Thanks to everyone at Villa Branca, we can't wait to come back hopefully very soon, Thor and Helga.
