The staff is amazing, so helpful, full of kindness and often went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay for the 6 nights we were there. The place is a great value, great location, the rooms were very comfortable and clean and the hot water worked. They also have a generator that kept everything on even during the power cuts. It is a very well managed property and they really care that you are happy while you are there.

We stayed 3 weeks in Rudram hotel. From the beginning a warm welcome. We were received as part of the family. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. Everything is extremely clean, 2 ladies were ongoing taking care of that. From 8am till late evening you can order meals, they are freshly coocked and delicious. Filtered water is available. Airport shuttle and laundry service are available. There was always somebody at the reception helping when we needed something or for questions and advice. We loved everything. 7th Heaven Inn Rishikesh was truly a piece of heaven. The rooms are spacious, filled with glorious light, quiet and remarkably clean. The aesthetic touches in the rooms are just right; and there are bedside lamps, which are too often missing in hotels in India. I also really appreciated that there were no TVs in the rooms (or phones, for that matter)--one feels as if one has entered another, more expansive era. After all, there is plenty to look at from the balcony! The staff members are warm and attentive, and the food is made fresh. Kalam, the manager, is a lovely person-- welcoming and accommodating. He facilitated a shift in rooms after I'd added another day in Rishikesh. Because my stay overlapped with the International Yoga Festival and most guests were getting their yoga fixes elsewhere, I pretty much had the hotel yoga studio to myself, which felt luxurious. Lastly, the location is perfect: tucked away and yet minutes walking to restaurants, cafes, shops, and about a 15-minute walk to Ram Jhula. I'm very happy to have found this place--will certainly stay again. Many thanks to Kalam and 7th Heaven!
