Facing the the Vembanad Lake, the Hotel Cocobay Resort Kumarakom is surrounded by tropical greenery. Accessible only by boat, it features an outdoor pool, a yoga centre, and a restaurant.

The breakfast was good, - fresh cut fruits & juices, toast & eggs, sausages, hash brown, etc. The various traditional Kerala dishes we had for lunch and dinner were very good too. The service staff did a good job, particularly Musa. The property is very well maintained, both inside and out. The traditional tiled roofs look great in the verdant settings. There's a spa and an outdoor swimming pool too for those interested. The property faces the great Vembanad Lake, so a great view is guaranteed at all times, and particularly at sunset. Cormorants, egrets and herons are seen by the lakeside. The access to the property from the car park is by a short boat ride on a village canal which adds to the atmospherics. We enjoyed walking through the neighbouring village and interacting with the friendly villagers.

Very nice location to relax in front of a clean beach. There is also a beautiful lake 5 minutes away. Albert and Sunni were amazing hosts that tried to help with everything and were extremely friendly. It was hard to leave, since we enjoyed our time there a lot. It's only like 15 minutes away from Alleppey center by tuk tuk and it's the perfect stay to relax, have a swimm and then explore the city in the afternoon.

Located right on the beach, Neela Waters is an absolute gem. Om and Najeem make you very welcome you and treat you like family. I think the place epitomises Kerala: laid-back with hidden depths of charm. You will not want to leave.

We booked 3 days at Ameya and added an extra one. Amazing garden, top notch bungalow and great swimming pool overviewing the lake. 4 times upclass dinner served at our own bungalow and we once took the opportunity to join the chef delivering his masterpieces. Everything perfect because of Anish (always ready to explain Indian history and Kerala culture) and his staff constantly running the extra mile and then doing one more. Highly recommended!

Literally ON the beach. Wonderful staff, ready to help with anything at all. The host was so lovely- was able to organise freezing cold beer on request. Great little restaurant on site that serves beautiful, fresh Kerelan food. On a lovely stretch of beach with palm roofed beach bars nearby. Rooms have aircon.

Alleppey Beach Garden offers accommodation on the Alleppey beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Some rooms include a seating area where you can relax.
