Amazing Hotel, really nice room, great toiletries, etc. The breakfast is the best hotel buffet I had in a long time. But the best thing about this hotel is the atmosphere, the buildings are beautifully restored thatched dependencies of the monastery. Staying here is a no brainer if you pass by the Balaton lake area.

Great place for families with children. The food was great, the facilities for the kids are fantastic. The hotel is super clean, the rooms are large, comfy, equipped with everything you need for small kids. The staff is amazing - paying attention to details. We enjoyed the evening live music at the lobby bar.

The only aspect the place may lack is the opportunity to cook for oneself; however, having the - Michelin Guide recommend Bistro Zelna with best chef and friend I know, Jean-Paul - next door generously compensates for those needs. As of its surroundings... Sourrounded by keenly alive and spirited neighbourhood, bustling and full of life, an excellent choice for those who want to experience the bubbly nightlife of Balatonfüred. We were utterly pleased that the unit comes with 2 bedrooms , with one toilet/bath and another toilet and a large living room with a functional kitchen. The conditions of the unit was in perfect condition , very well kept , clean and equipped with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay. It is located within a gated community so access is very private. There is also a parking lot that comes with the apartment. Lake Belaton is apparently the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe with a size of 600 square km. This is almost the size of Singapore. As we were there during the off peak season , there were little activities at the lake except some holiday makers and people fishing. But the tranquil environment is very therapeutic and brings peace to the mind. Excellent choice of accommodation which I would highly recommend
