The room was extremely confortable and luxe. I appreciated code system to enter the room, no need to carry a card. The overall vibe was very chill and relaxing, being a small boutique hotel there is no noise or hustle and bustle from other tourists. The beach is really nice, quiet, confortable sunbeds. The service was extraordinary, staff is well trained and kind, they also provide some food and drinks, perfect for a long day at the beach doing nothing. I totally recommend it.

Stylish and cozy boutique hotel on the seafront in Réthimno. We picked this hotel because of its excellent location — right in the middle of a long seafront, where we loved running and walking. The hotel has its own small beach just across the road with only 25 comfortable sunbeds which make the stay even more intimate. Guests don’t have to pay for sunbeds (but have to order one drink per person, which you do anyway if you spend time near the sea). The hotel looked very stylish and cozy. The terrace with a sea view where you could have breakfast in the morning and drinks during the whole day was amazing. There was a small swimming pool inside the hotel which was a perfect place to enjoy quiet atmosphere and relax a bit. The room was spacious, clean and stylish, with a small sofa and a balcony overlooking the sea. In addition, it was super important for us to have a peaceful and relaxing place and the hotel room had a very good sound isolation, so we didn’t hear anything happening down the street. The team of the hotel was super friendly. Filio and Irene at the front desk were always available for any kind of questions and requests . We really appreciated our warm communication, we felt like at home. The variety of food during breakfast was pretty good. You could choose from different kinds of bread and pastries, eggs, vegetables, fruit, Greek yogurt and some sweets. As the recommendation to improve — it would be great if you shouldn’t pay extra for the coffee on the bar during breakfast time (espresso, Greek coffee), as not everyone drinks black coffee that was served and included in the price. It would also be a plus if guests could receive the water in the room or at least have access to it in the hotel. In general, we had a lovely stay and can recommend this place for those who travel to Crete.

Nick is a great host and a wonderful person, we spent a week in Porto Enetiko Suites, the room was super clean, the view from the balcony it’s spectacular! Nick welcomed us when we arrived and he answered to every questions we had before our arrival and also during our stay. I would recommend this fantastic place to whoever visits Rethymno! This place was the surprise of our 2 weeks trip in Greece. If there’s any hotel we wished we’ve stayed more it’s this. The staff, the breakfast, the quality of room (seaview) and facilities. The restaurant downstairs is great and probably one of the cheapest in town, which is weird given the quality. If you want a location by the beach with private beds, and away from the noise of the parties at night. This is the spot. It is 10-15 minutes walk to the old town, an easy and very safe walk through livable areas. But if this walk is too much and you’re after a stay in old town rather than a beach, maybe location is questionable. We’ll definitely be back. Rythimno impressed us a lot.
