We spent five unforgettable days at Carpe Diem in Galatas, and honestly, the experience was far beyond our expectations. The room was extremely spacious, well-equipped, and gave us everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But what truly made it special was the huge terrace with a breathtaking view of Poros Island — colorful houses, boats, and the sea… absolutely magical. The location is perfect if you want to explore nearby islands like Methana, Poros, Hydra, and beautiful beaches such as Metamorfosi, Monastiri, Kanali, and Aliki. Every day, from the moment we arrived until we said goodbye, Yiannis, the manager, was there with helpful tips and local insights that made our trip smooth and unforgettable. You can really feel the passion and care he puts into managing this place. We can’t wait to come back for another holiday at Carpe Diem Galatas. Katerina is the most hard-working, wonderful and kind owner we have ever met (and we have travelled greece a LOT). From the breakfasts to the bowls of food and shots of almond liqueur, we were so well looked after that we extended our stay, something we very rarely do. The area is lovely in October/November and we found everyone very friendly with a great beach a 10 minute drive away and some exceptional areas to explore. The walk to Galatas and back through the olive groves is a peaceful and enjoyable way to end the day. We found Galatas much more to our taste than Poros but it's a quick hop on the boat if that's more your thing. The apartment itself is very well-equipped and worth much more than the nightly rate. A large kitchen with everything you could need, comfortable beds, a good shower and terrace with plenty of seating. We loved our stay and hope to be back for a longer time as soon as we can. This is possibly the best place we've ever stayed. Thanks so much Katerina and Vangelos. :)

Charming place, nice host, beautiful and thoughtful interior. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful yard with lounge chairs, a rocking chair and a swing for children. Very close to the city center. We really liked it. I definitely recommend this accommodation to others.

This place is simply amazing .....the location is spectacular...the villa? Just WOW ....3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms kitchen dining area and lounge are wonderful .. but the veranda is truly spectacular ....its huge with a big table, umbrella and bbq ...we've had amazing meals looking out across the sea cooked on the bbq with food brought from the fish market and butchers ....equally the Tavernas are lovely ..and let's not forget Karalos who runs the Passage across the road .....do some ski-ing or have fun on the banana or , like us, lounge on the sunbeds and watch everyone else do it!, Its a peaceful location and nowhere is far .... we cannot race about this villa enough ....go and see for yourself !
