Bijzonder sympathiek is het feit dat er een mand met allerhande etenswaren klaar stond, dat je contactloos kan inchecken is volgens ons een must en we mochten zelfs 6u langer blijven dan uitchecktijd. En ja, de lieve buurtpoezen :)

We were pleasantly surprised by Pico – such a peaceful island with very few people. The house itself is stunning: right by the ocean cliff, with the sound of the waves, sunsets on the terrace, and even the Milky Way at night. From the terrace you can see both neighboring islands and Mount Pico itself. There’s a nearby spot to swim, snorkel, and even jump into the water surrounded by fish, with a shower right by the ocean. We loved the rustic charm of the slightly older house and the spaciousness, plus the wild goats passing by along the cliffs were a magical bonus.

The morning so they made us a very lovely box breakfast to take with us. They also made sure we settled in even though we were late arriving due to flight cancellations.

Evenings on the terrace were fabulous (good weather helped).

Our room was absolutely perfect: spacious, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. It struck the ideal balance between comfort and elegance, with lovely touches that made our stay feel special. The facilities throughout the hotel were equally impressive—modern, well-maintained, and immaculately clean.
