My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Samed Garden Resort and would highly reccomend staying here! We stayed in a 2nd story room, the room was much bigger than we expected with a beautiful view of the garden that felt like we were in a tree house. The room was emaculately clean. Some reviews say that the accomodation is "far away" from the rest of the town.. but we hired a scooter for the time we were here (we hired one for 280 baht a day and was a great way to see the rest of the island too) and it was only a 6 minute scooter ride to the main strip - I would not call this far away :) The owner is the loveliest person you could meet who went above and beyond to help us with any requests or questions we had. Thankyou for the lovely stay!

The hotel features a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed in the Villa and it was honestly the most relaxing holiday we've had! The place is a couple minutes by songthaew from the pier (we paid 50 baht/pax). There is no pool but the beach right in front of the property is the cleanest and calmest beach in the island, and we know this because we visited some of the beaches where other luxury resorts were. (To be fair, it was a bit rainy during our stay so this might have been one factor why the other beaches were murky and dirty.) There is a convenience store located in the other beach that you can reach by foot following a concrete pathwalk in front of the property - in case you need to buy some things not present in the resort (in our case, Tylenol!). Breakfast selection was amazing as well - they have everything from an egg station, pastries, and fruits to typical asian breakfast variety. Thai people in general are very kind, helpful, and polite, so it wasn't really a surprise to us that the staff were amazing! They had someone take us to our room and even offered to take us to our massage place during the night. The room itself was immaculately clean - we really felt comfortable and at home the moment we stepped in. No issues with plumbing, AC, and mosquitoes, but if you do have any concerns, their reception can be reached via landline and are quick to help with anything. The size of the room and its interior design are top-notch and not something you expect with the value you are paying. The sea view in the balcony is also a huge plus for me. The whole experience really was the highlight of my holiday and now I am absolutely torn between gatekeeping it and recommending it to everyone! PS - I had read somewhere here that the beach loungers in the resort's restaurant were always occupied by non-guests, but this wasn't the case during our stay. We had no difficulties finding available ones. And if they were all indeed occupied, we just sat in the restaurant.

Avoided us leaving Hua HIn at 3am in the morning for the drive upto UTP. Also good for an evening arrival , if you have a long trip ahead of you.

Located around 2.7 km from Ao Phai Beach, the resort is also 2.9 km away from Sai Kaew Beach. Guests can dine in the restaurant or a drink at the snack bar and free WiFi is available. The location is amazing. I was very impressed. The staff was very kind. My husband got a rock cut his foot. They gave us medicine and keep asking us about his situation. I'm sure. I will go back there again.

You can play table tennis and darts at the accommodation. It was a very lovely stay. Our room was on the second floor with a view of the sea, and it looked completely newly furnished. The room was very spacious, everything was clean, and there was a large refrigerator. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. We especially loved having a private beach where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views. We highly recommend this place – everything was perfect.

Entire property was always tidy not a leaf on the ground. The housekeeper was always helpful and very polite. Pool was always perfect for us. If we required a ride bolt was always available. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Highly recommended.
