Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. One of the rooms we booked was beyond out expectations but the other was quite small and had a slanted ceiling and we kept hitting our heads..

All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff speaks several languages. The view from our balcony to the north was enchanting. Mountains, goats, helicopters, paragliders, and sunrises. Quiet. No noise. Nothing disturbed our sleep. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant cheese list. Indeed, not every five-star hotel will have such quality breakfasts. Amazing heated pool, various saunas, hydromassage. Spacious, comfortable room. Cleaning every day. It is really useful to have a full mini kitchen where you can have a snack in the evening before going to bed. Central location. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, supermarket and other transport links to visit all the beauties of the resort. We were enchanted. Thank you to all the staff of Arca Solebad and Spa. This is the best place in Zermatt.

Most rooms in the Hotel Bristol offer superb views of the Matterhorn. The staff were so friendly and kind! The whole hotel was so cozy, the spa was amazing! Our room was excellent with a super comfortable bed. The breakfast was wonderful, they provide so many options. Will be staying here again if in zermatt again

Ski passes can be purchased at the house and a ski storage room is offered. The Zermatt Railway Station is 400 metres away and upon arrival, the transfer to the hotel is included. Excellent interior design; amazing view to Matterhorn from the pool and from our room; wide variety of stuff for breakfast- good quality, fresh juices and fruits; staff is very professional and helpful ; sauna is small ( 3 options) but sufficient to relax after a hike ; we also had dinner at the Grill restaurant and loved it - especially the Tatar and tuna tataki; we also used the option of the free shuttle from and to the train station - although short distance , it helps with the luggage. Pillows and mattress were very soft and comfortable . The room was very spacious. If we go back to Zermatt, we’d stay there again
