Amazing heritage setting. Such a beautiful and interesting hotel. Breakfast was simple but delicious and plentiful. Our loft room was super quirky (loved the light fitting and decor- see photos), quite large, the bed was comfy and there were books in it- which I always love! Staff were so helpful with personal suggestions for places to eat and see. A lovely touch to offer a take out breakfast for our early flight home too. Thanks for an amazing stay in your fantastic city- We loved it!

The hotel is very elegant and centrally located. It was possible just to walk to most of the sights in George Town. Our room was very comfortable and really spacious. There was a big variety of different dishes at breakfast and everything was delicious.

We are in luck because the property is new! We chose to stay here because we wanted to experience how is it feels like staying in a local heritage houses in Penang. We love how the owner transformed the prewar shophouses into modern living heritage guesthouse while preserve the authenticity vibes of the property. The villa is amazing! Location wise it is close to the centre and all famous food spots are walkable. The food stalls outside the villa is also awesome. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We spent a fun time playing congkak together. The staff also allowed late check out due to our flight delay. We had a private bathroom to ourselves, which is a treat. Please note some other rooms may have your bathroom outside of your room. In general, we are very satisfied and happy with our room. Will definitely come back next time!!

This guest house is a perfect place to stay when in Georgetown. The location is great, only a short walk from the busy area, bus stops and other landmarks in the town. There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants in close proximity. Shane and his wife are brilliant hosts. They were so welcoming and shared some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. This house has great facilities, a big common kitchen area where there was fresh bread in the morning for the guests was a peak. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Check in was super easy. I definitely recommend this property if you are visiting Penang!

The floors were clean, and the design of the bathroom area is nice. I got into a mild motorcycle accident during my stay, and the hostel manager was very helpful in helping me tape up the wounds. The hostel manager also provided good food recommendations in the area. I also liked how the manager was receptive to suggestions for the hostel.
