Aki is a great guy who has lived a cool and interesting life! He offered to pick us up from the station, then took us around Kushimoto to see some spots and have lunch before going to his place. Later, he cooked us dinner and then breakfast too! He is super generous.

Hospitable owner. Good location during my kumano kodo ohechi hike. Near Tako train station (900m) and bus stop just at door front. Communal room and free ocha tea bag available. No restaurants nearby but the owner can cook dinner (2000yen) and breakfast (included in my booking) for you.

The outside onsen is amazing, the lobby provides complimentary drinks at different times, the room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Garden and outdoor area to relax with a nice big pool. Spectacular views of Hashigiiwa Rocks! Very friendly staff :)
