Arrival and welcome was warm and friendly the receptionist insisted on helping carry the heavy suitcases up to the room, AND we were given a complementary upgrade to a bigger room. The room was fantastic with a perfect view over the harbour. Huge, comfortable bed and gigantic bathroom. There was a party until 2 am on our first night , just below our room, and we were worried it would keep us awake, but we heard absolutely nothing. We found a 3km (3 mile?) walking circuit around the coast and the hills leaving from the hotel, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was excellent and every single one of the service staff were friendly helpful and professional

Had a lovely time at Tors Place, perfect location only a 5 minute walk from Portree Square, the accommodation is very comfortable and very well equipped. Breakfast each morning was varied and plentiful, and hosts were so lovely and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Property was even better than expected. Clean, spacious, had everything you needed for the perfect stay. The welcome gifts were a perfect addition. Nice quiet location in the middle of Skye.

Great location close to Carbost with restaurants featuring local musicians, Talisker distillery, great hiking, and easy access to the island. Cafe Cuil is a 5 minute walk away and a gem. The property is country peaceful. Modern, clean, and well appointed. It was a much better accommodation than the online description. Good tasting water out of the tap. We would definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed out stay with James. Accommodation on the island is often expensive and In high demand so this was a great place to stay for one night. It's very close to the fairy pools which is a must! Make sure to read your email and James might not be there on arrival, James was very welcome and knowledgeable about Scottish history. The pub closed by served great food with a great atmosphere. The location is fantastic and free whiskey in the garden. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.

The house was in the most amazing location, we arrived in the night so couldn’t see the view but what a spectacular surprise in the morning! The accommodation is really thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable indeed, our host was immediately available for any enquiries and we enjoyed a wonderful stay in this special part of the Isle of Skye.

I still can't appreciates accommodations unattended by the owner, but nothing to regret about our stay: room was (very) small but clean, so as the outside bathroom. There's also a common living room, and we parked outside without problems. The house is located in a very quiet area, not far from the Talisker distillery. fair price for the crazy level of Skye
