Beautiful and relaxed setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fabienne is a perfect host and super friendly. There was tea, coffee, sugar and milk and even fruit and fresh lemon water waiting for us when we arrived. She was accommodating of all our needs, prepared beds and bowls for our dogs, brought in our towels when it rained, and even offered us tomatoes from her wonderful veggie patch! The accommodation is super clean, light and bright and decorated in a comfortable, modern style. The terrace is perfect for a warm summer's day and the neighbour has an organic farm store with homemade bread on some days, butter, cheese, eggs and even Kombucha!

we had room service breakfast ...brilliant. Everything was just lovely. So helpful. Free travel card and discounts to attractions. Lovely position almost on the lake. Staff delighful. The most amazing suite with two of everything, two TVs, two sinks, two rooms, two toilets, two double wardrobes, two sofas, two tables, two balconies and even two big proper keys, with those old fashioned tassles. A beautiful location above the lake. A little cosy separate house within a courtyard with a family house. A nice welcome by the host, detailed instructions, parking, a kitchinette with coffee, tea, mineral water, couscous, spices, etc.available. The day was cold so it was great that a heater was there too.

It was a beautiful stay at Baron Tavernier. The views on Christmas morning were breathtaking. Walking around the grounds and the church bells ringing out locally just fabulous. Looking across at the Alps.

The view was excellent - location is everything. We stayed over Christmas and the room was still cleaned every day with fresh towels provided which I didn't expect at Christmas.

Beautiful quaint countryside. The view over the lake was captivating. The staff were very pleasant. I must make special mention of Eloise who went beyond her call of duty to personally write out an itinerary complete with highlights. We were meant to travel to Geneva and decided to rather stay a further two days at Prealpina. Thank you to everyone at Prealpina our stay was lovely.
