4-star APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. Amazing place! A truly relaxing and peaceful stay. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. We really enjoyed the food — both the breakfast and dinner options were delicious and nicely presented. We also visited the wine bar and the English bar — both had a lovely atmosphere. One of the highlights was the wellness area. We were lucky to be there when it wasn’t crowded, so we could fully enjoy the swimming pool and all the saunas in peace. Would definitely recommend for a calm and rejuvenating getaway!

Walking distance from the lake, many attractions around. Food was amazing as well. Definitely coming back !

The location is very handy since it is near the train station. It is extremely comfortable since you have whatever you need at the room as facilities. Additionally it is a really clean one. We arrived very late in the evening without prior accommodation, and most places in the area had a check-in deadline of 10 PM. We called the hotel around 11 PM, and a kind lady came over to personally open the hotel and prepare a room for us. She was extremely helpful and polite, and we truly appreciated her effort. The hotel itself is new, spotlessly clean, and offers a great breakfast. Free parking is also available on-site, which was very convenient. Given the service and quality, I can’t give this hotel anything less than a 10. Thank you once again for your outstanding hospitality!

Tastefully renovated old villa near Smokovce. Getting there was easy with the train and parking is available for cars too. There are hiking trails and a skiing slope within a km from the villa. Bed was nice. Good breakfast.
