Just 8 minutes’ walk from Visby Harbour and the ferry terminal, this quiet hotel offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi access. The greenery of the Palissad Park is right next door. The location is good enough. I get nice tourist spots or restaurants within 15-20 minutes by foot. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. On my first day of arrival, they were very kind and recommended Vencino Cafe & Bubbel (Sidderrog 1, Visby) to me for lunch. It was a cosy and nice place. The liquid soap provided by the hotel smells so good that I purchased a few to take home.

Rooms were well equipped and laid out well. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Best buffet breakfast I've ever had. Location was good - about 15 mins walk into town. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again!

Hotell Slottsbacken is just a few minutes’ walk from Visby’s main street, Adelsgatan. Very old world charm, tasteful Scandinavian simplicity. Practical and very comfortable. Lovely staff and the breakfast for kings. Nice little glimpses of the town.
