Airport A4 Transit Hub - Eco Chalets is located in Katunayake, within 11 km of St Anthony's Church and 33 km of R Premadasa Stadium. Our first night in Sri Lanka and it was the best experience. We did a last minute booking after our flight arrived late, they came to pick us up right away and welcomed us with a cold beer, water and bananas. The room was really clean and comfortable, strong wifi and air conditioning. The manager is really kind and friendly, breakfast is delicious and they even dropped us off at the tuktuk rental place the next morning (extra charge). Our stay here was wonderful.

It’s very close to the airport, the rooms themselves are comfy with aircon and en-suite, and the owners are the kindest and most helpful people!

Nice and quiet room with comfortable beds. It’s the tropics so we weren’t bothered by an in room gecko keeping the bugs away. A/C worked great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Derrick and his wife made my stay unforgettable with their warm hospitality. The hotel is ideally located—close to the city yet peaceful. My spacious room had a beautiful balcony view and was spotlessly clean. The homemade breakfasts were delicious, and I loved having access to a well-equipped kitchen. Their personal touch and helpful advice made me feel right at home. Highly recommend! Will definitely return.

Featuring a fitness centre and views of sea, Transit Studio Katunayake is a recently renovated apartment situated in Katunayake, 7.5 km from St Anthony's Church. Close to the airport, clean and well equipped rooms with new AC and balcony. Friendly and helpful staff and fast airport transport for 3$. It was easy to find and it is not that noisy as it is not next to the main road.

Located within 700 metres of Negombo Beach and 3.6 km of St Anthony's Church, Bee Nest Bed & Breakfast features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Negombo. Hosts, Buddi and family, were amazing. They kindly stayed up late to welcome us on arrival and helped us arrange transport to Kandy the following morning. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a lovely common area. (We only stayed one night so didn’t get to explore the surrounding area.)

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Villa Shade is a hidden gem! The property was beautiful with lovely tropical gardens and comfortable rooms (with a fabulous outdoor bathroom). Shiraj was a lovely host who cares deeply about the property and his guests. They have created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and even grow an all organic garden on the property! All of the staff was helpful and hospitable during our stay and accommodated a very early morning checkout time- we wished we had more nights to spend at this hotel.
