Just 5 minutes' walk from the Padre Pio Sanctuary in San Giovanni Rotondo, this 4-star hotel features a restaurant, and a spiritual centre with 2 chapels and a convention hall. Excellent hotel, right below the Sanctuary. It's a steep climb but short, especially if you find the shortcut. The receptionists (who mostly spoke English) and the cleaning ladies we would meet in the hallway were so lovely and nice. The room was clean and spacious and the small fridge was great to have. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. We don't stay at hotels a lot so not sure if that's common but there was a room with an iron and ironing board which was very handy to have (and it had a schuko socket unlike the room). Breakfast was very good with a variety of offer, and lunch was very affordable and delicious! We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

We loved that they also had extra pillows in the closet, which were thick by the way. The staff was also friendly and explained everything we needed to know about our stay excellently. He even booked us a table at a nearby restaurant, which we really appreciated, which included a 10% discount because we were staying at Hotel San Pio. We will definitely come back!

Our stay was incredible. The beautiful view, the excellent food, the large bedroom (best bed and pillow ever) were amazing. The staff was awesome. Very great hotel!

This was a fantastic find. The hotel is exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and has a great location in a quiet area and it’s just Minutes to the center. The breakfast was unbelievable. We would stay here again, and recommended very highly.

The staff were just phenomenal! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and always smiling. Absolutely the most lovely people. Breakfast was amazing. Great choices (even for a celiac). The rooms were spotless. The water pressure in the shower was awesome! Everything was great. My bed was too hard for my personal preference and they added a topper to help make it more comfortable! How wonderful is that!
