Located in Villavieja, Alojamiento Casa de campo los Cactus offers a garden. There is a restaurant serving Latin American cuisine, and free private parking is available. The family that run Casa de Campo were so friendly and attentive. They made it very easy to gain information about getting to the desert and arranged affordable transport to the grey desert and Villavieja for us. It was walkable to the red desert and a short walk to the observatory. The lunch was tasty and they catered for me as a vegetarian. We would absolutely recommend this - it is decorated beautifully, very clean and there are lots of areas to relax and hammocks to chill in after your hike. They have lovely pets too!
