The rooms were spacious and very clean with good facilities. The host is exceedingly helpful and kind, picking us up from the bus stop, as well as helping to book tours and transport. Location is great and breakfast too, would recommend!

Funny Monkeys homestay was absolutely magnificent. Such a nice place with a beautiful view. The rooms are basic but just fine with everything you need. There’s enough space for your bags. My fb and I highly recommend this place. Also because of the host / manager Phuong, she maid our stay unforgettable. She gave us the best tips, and helped us with everything: booking tours, where to eat, and she also arranged the sleepers bus for us to go to Ninh Binh. For us she was the best and sweetest host we met so far! Thank you soooo much Phuong!

Beautiful view over the river, very peaceful and only few minutes away from the city centre and the Phong Nha cave. Very comfortable room with a comfy bed as well. Very good and tasty breakfast. They helped me organize my transportation and also I booked a Cave tour with them. Can highly recommend!

we really liked the property, it is amazing, we even extended our stay here. it is a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature, with butterflies flying around you 😍 we rented scouters from them and drove around a bit, the food is also very good, the host picked us up from the bus station at 4:30 in the morning, showed us what we can do here, booked a tour for us. they are really amazing hosts and they try really hard that their guests feel comfortable and at home. the kids super cute, are great and are well behaved. rooms are clean and spacious, with a beautiful view. the pool was also very nice and clean. overall an amazing experience and we would love to come back!

Following a hectic arrival from Hanoi and a tumble about on the local B4, The location is very much amongst local people which is really nice. Off the beaten track allowed for a rest from the hectic life in Vietnam. You can easily walk about 15/20mins to the local Phong Nha centre of town if you wanted to which we did on several occasions easily. Yuen was a most helpful host, his advice was great and we liked how helpful he was. His brother took us to Dong Hoi and negotiated with the railway staff to look after our luggage so we could go sightseeing around the city. Brilliant… I can’t even remember whether there was a TV or not as we had too much to see and do to be bothered. The view from the top deck over our room was amazing. See pictures. All locals were interactive. The food was tasty, edible, not greasy and not fried!! Great value for money. Lovely, lovely meals, breakfasts and general setting. Yuen and his wonderful family ( beautifully inquisitive children) were inviting kind host. Would we stay again? Only answer has to be YES!!
