We loved the tour to Cinnamon plantation. It was very nice to be able to smell the leaves of cinnamon, lemon trees, taste peppercorns, mandarins, soursop, beli and other fruits straight from the tree. It was a very beautiful and interesting tour. The Mailagama Cinnamon residence is very peaceful and very beautiful, with lots of beautiful plants, flowers and tranquil picturesque views with rice fields, coconut, bananas and other trees, and the sounds of nature are amazing. Good quality room. The food was delicious. High service. The host was a very professional and interesting person. He helped us with safari tours, packed breakfast boxes, arranged taxis and answered all our questions. And of course the cinnamon tea was delicious. We loved this place. Thank You for everything. Highly recommend this unique place.

Loved it... I have booked two normal rooms there and after a day they shifted us to the bigger one due to my kids. 😊 Both girls (receptionist)are very helpful and kitchen staff is also very good. Anusha's service is also nice.

This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip. Super clean, very friendly and the food was excellent. We loved the deer in the garden and we had a trip out with the owners son eho showed us the bird life on the lake nearby and the bat colony. Was sad to only stay 1 night, would definitely return.

So far the best stay in Sri Lanka. It is a basic accommodation in the middle of the nature. The host and her husband spent more than 1 our with us searching for sleeping birds. I got some great shots. They searched with us in a book for the names of all the birds. Sunrise is stunning to watch right out of the balcony. You can walk around the lake and see so many birds, crocodiles etc. Just the people on the street who wants to offer you a guided tour where a bit annoying, but this has nothing to do with the accommodation. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Initially we booked this stay to do the Yala Safari, but because we already saw all the animals in other parcs, we asked his advice what to do. He gave us a few options, all with a good price. We did a tuk tuk tour to "the elephant road" & Katharagama Temple complex The stay itself is very cosy, hygienic, breath taking views & quiet environment. Breakfast itself is worth going there as well as the evening meals. His wife and he cook delicious meals!

Great location for yala safari. Resort is stunning. Staff are kind and friendly and helpful. Spa was worth doing, I went at night so I didn’t waste the day at the spa. Gym was great. Pool was unreal. All the food was great. Great breakfast. I had a great stay and will be back.
