We stayed for 2 nights to explore Wakayama. The hotel is in front of Wakayama castle which is interesting to explore. The room was clean and spacious. We didn't have a view of the castle but the room had a nice view. The best part was breakfast buffet with lots of options. It was one of the best breakfast. There was a big bookshop underneath, which was a bonus for us who are book lovers.

Situated in Wakayama, 3 km from Okawa Hachiman Shrine, Kyukamura Kishu-Kada features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant.

Had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. Was in a somewhat rural area so I'd recommend having your own car to make exploring easier. Staff were so attentive and kind, my partner and I always felt extremely welcome. Breakfast was included and was delicious. My partner and I booked one of the dinner courses they offer at the hotel and whilst pricey ($200) was very enjoyable. 10/10 recommend :)

Room rate is reasonable and the public bath is a bonus. Mini mart, small restaurant and the laundromat are all in the same building.
