Situated in such a beautiful location, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We felt like in our own little ancient stone castle, but with a modern touch. We had a wonderful time at Messinian View as a family of four. The place is peaceful and offers breathtaking views over the sea and Kalamata. The host was absolutely amazing – kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel truly welcome and taken care of, which made a big difference. There’s a small path that leads down to the water, and both the morning and evening swims were absolutely magical – calm, clear, and quiet. We loved every moment and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay near Kalamata centre.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and elegant, and everything from the toilet seat to the bathroom doors themselves were “soft closing”. The breakfast was ample and delicious, and they brewed an outstanding pour-over coffee. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful, and spoke excellent English.

Right on the seafront, at the protected bay of New Itilo in Mani, lies the traditional hotel Itilo.

Perfect place. We had a lot of fun staying there. Clean and beautiful place, close to the sea, great location. Excellent breakfast. The rooms are spacious and large. The staff is lovely and kind. Especially Nikos, Angela and the owner Maria. highly recommend . We will definitely go back there.
